Patty Flauto

Patty Flauto is a Fine Artist whose studio is in Rocky River, Ohio.

Patty received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from

Youngstown State University and her Master of Fine Arts

degree from Kent State University.

Her painting style is best described as “experimental”. She creates her paintings using mixed media and collage techniques. In the studio she mixes water media with oil sticks and acrylic mediums. Powdered and pearled pigment powders create luster and surface interest.

Her work is highly expressive and interprets subjects in an abstract way. All of the pieces show her passion for combining color and surface interest in unique ways.
