    Heather Lenz, Founder, Sangfroid Strategy
Commercial Business;  Foundation;  Government;  Kids & Family;  Nonprofit
Heather Lenz is an artist and maker, specializing mostly in woodworking. She makes custom residential and commercial furniture, and collaborates with other artists to do other cool stuff! Through her consulting business, Heather’s work focuses on how to take the elements of being a maker – creative problem solving, design thinking, prototyping, flexibility, propensity for trying new things, etc. – and infusing them into the organizational development space. Many nonprofits, governments, and companies struggle with building teams of employees who can make the most of limited resources, work through discomfort and unease, and overcome psychological barriers of approaching new tasks and skills. The coolest thing about this problem – is that it has been solved – by artists who do these things every day.  In 2018 – Heather partnered with a local community makers space to leverage the assets of makers to solve problems in other sectors – and in turn – find ways to leverage budgets companies have for solving these problems to support makers 🙂
