Viva Latina! BlueWater Chamber Orchestra Concert

Shake off winter doldrums with the passionate perspectives only Latin and Spanish music can provide. From the child prodigy Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga, we hear the vivid harmonic expressions of the 19-year-old “Spanish Mozart.” While Aaron Copland explores the Latin American zeitgeist through his North American perspective, Astor Piazzolla thrills via a uniquely Argentine tango vibe.

BlueWater Chamber Orchestra, NE Ohio’s premier chamber ensemble, presents Arriaga’s Symphony in D, Copland’s Three Latin American Sketches, and Piazzolla’s Aconcagua: Concerto for Bandoneon, with Hanzhi Wang, accordion, as soloist. This family friendly concert is played without intermission and allows an intimate concert experience. Admission is Pay What You Wish ($20 suggested donation).
