From the child prodigy Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga, we hear the vivid harmonic expressions of the 19-year-old “Spanish Mozart.” While Aaron Copland explores the Latin American zeitgeist through his North American perspective, Astor Piazzolla thrills via a uniquely Argentine tango vibe.

BlueWater Chamber Orchestra, NE Ohio’s premier chamber ensemble, presents Arriaga’s Symphony in D, Copland’s Three Latin American Sketches, and Piazzolla’s Aconcagua: Concerto for Bandoneon, with Hanzhi Wang, accordion, as soloist.
