METROHEALTH GLICK CENTER ART COLLECTION

The MetroHealth System’s visual art program will inspire a transformative experience for every person who engages with the health care system. It will embody MetroHealth’s global diversity and local focus and inspire a sense of hope, healing and community. The MetroHealth Glick Center Art Collection was curated by MetroHealth’s Center for Arts in partnership with LAND studio. The collection includes 1,008 pieces of art. Of those:

 695 are unique artworks
 Of the 695 unique artworks, 74% are by local artists or artists with a local connection
 86 are commissioned artworks
 Of the 86 commissioned works, 91% are by local artists or artists with a local connection
 Every patient room has a piece of art

The collection which was installed in 2022 features local, national and international artists and includes painted murals, photography, printmaking, paintings, collage, mixed-media, 3D installations and more.

Linda Jackson serves as Director, Arts in Health, for The MetroHealth System. She leads its nationally recognized Center for Arts in Health and oversees the integration of the visual, performing and therapeutic arts in MetroHealth’s hospitals, clinics, schools and neighborhoods for the benefit of patients, families, caregivers and greater community.
