1934 Season, His Good Were They?

We’re concluding our celebration of Black baseball 90 years ago in November by addressing the question How Good Were They? and imagining what might have happened if the Black and white teams and players of the day shared an equal playing environment.

We are thankful to the Cuyahoga County Arts and Culture Council for funds to support our efforts. We will highlight the best of the presentations in 2024.

The 2024 programs will continue to highlight how these experiences reflect American society and culture in general, to bring awareness to how the past is always with us – to teach us, and to provide inspiration and encouragement to those facing similar challenges today.

Donations to support the community and youth efforts of the Community Cup Classic Foundation are welcome .
