The string ensemble conductor will be responsible for providing daily instruction in
group settings to beginning and intermediate string students. The ensemble conductor
will work closely with the El Sistema@Rainey Coordinator and teaching artists to plan
and facilitate daily lessons that support and advance the short-and long-term goals of the
program, and that help to encourage and inspire students on the path of musical and
personal growth.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00, plus one weekly staff meeting. Additional concerts
and events will be held throughout the year, and will be compensated.
Compensation: Hourly. Rate based on education and experience.
