Yaron Kohlberg Plays Shostakovich

BlueWater Chamber Orchestra presents Piano Cleveland President Yaron Kohlberg in Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 1.  Daniel Meyer, Artistic Director  of BlueWater, will conduct.   The prominent trumpet solo will be performed by guest artist Austin Cruz, an Artist Diploma candidate at the Cleveland Institute of Music.  The rest of the program includes the Danses Concertante of Stravinsky and Gustav Mahler’s arrangement of movements from Bach’s Orchestral Suites.  The family friendly concert will be played without intermission.
