Writing Memoir: The Main Ingredients

As in cooking, the better the ingredients for your recipe, the better the results. The same is true when writing true life stories. This workshop is about learning the ingredients of good memoir–voice, tone, plot, setting, narration or tension–by reading and writing. Participants will read curated selections and learn the craft of nonfiction. You will be expected to develop a piece, participate in thoughtful workshop after reviewing craft and learning workshop protocol, and revise and present your draft.
