What's on the easel at ICA? Meet Charles Goodyear!

Take an afternoon coffee break and see what’s on the easel in ICA-Art Conservation’s Painting Laboratory. This month you’ll meet Charles Goodyear (1800-1860) the self-taught chemist and engineer who discovered the process for vulcanizing rubber.

This month you’ll meet Charles Goodyear (1800-1860) the self-taught chemist and engineer who discovered the process for vulcanizing rubber.  Join us in the lab for a short program and then you’ll have the opportunity to visit the other labs with ICA’s Director of Education & Outreach.
