Summa Health Healing Arts Collection

Be the first to have a guided tour with the Curator, Meg Harris Stanton, of the outstanding Healing Arts Collection in Summa Health’s Gary and Pamela Williams Tower which opened in 2019 and the Juve Family Behavioral Health Pavilion which just opened in 2023. The collection features several Arts Prize winners, some of whom will join us to speak about their works. All of the artwork is original and all of the artists have an Ohio connection, through birth, schooling, or living and working in the region. Join us for a wine and cheese reception following the tour in the new Joseph Varley Conference Center, graciously hosted by Summa Health.

Meg Harris Stanton (BA, Smith College; MA, Johns Hopkins University) has been involved in the Northeast Ohio arts community for 35 years, serving as Managing Director of the Harris Stanton galleries in Akron and Cleveland. As an art consultant and curator, she was responsible for the establishment of many personal and corporate collections, both in and out of state, including BF Goodrich’s collection in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2018 she was named Curator for Summa Health, and was responsible for establishing their Healing Arts collection, which was nominated for an award by Americans for the Arts. She has served on the boards of Ohio Ballet. The Akron Art Museum, the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Arts Prize.
