The Embellished Book Workshop

Students will sew a book on parchment straps using the French Link stitch and create decorative covers using techniques that stretch from the seventh century to the 21st. Many decorative options will be demonstrated, including foundation molding, riveting, and closures. Brass and wooden objects, beads, ribbons, and cord will be available to adorn your book.
