Tango 102 at the Brownhoist

What to Expect –> Tango is known for its long beautiful walk, but out on the dance floor one must navigate changes of direction to the left and right. In this series of classes we’ll explore and sharpen the tools needed to comfortable switching from parallel to cross system and confident moving in all directions with a partner.

Where to Go –> Classes are held in the third floor of the Brownhoist, 4403 St Clair Ave

What to Wear –> Thursday classes can be a little more intermediate since we cover the technique of pivots, so if you have any please come with shoes that can slide across the floor a bit and otherwise feel free to dress comfortably!

Totally new to tango? We have a 101 class on Tuesday in Waterloo, but if you can’t make that don’t worry, you can start with these classes and still come away with a robust understanding of what tango is about.
