This one-hour-a-day, week-long class provides students with an introduction to the fundamentals of jazz while working on strength, balance, flexibility, jumps and turns. This class is best for students 6 to 11 years of age.
Jazz is an energetic, exciting, and exhilarating form of dance designed to help students develop strong technique as well as a unique individual style of performance. Jazz incorporates strength, balance, flexibility, dynamic jumps, turns, high-energy music and stylization exercises. This class will also focus on developing isolations, progressions, improvisation work, and personal performance within combinations.
