SPOTLIGHT: Jamie Richey

Jamie Richey is a photographer, mixed media artist and creative professional. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Jamie has bounced from here to the South and back again starting with her BA in film and photography from Elon University. She returned to Ohio to do freelance film/tv gigs while working in a photography studio and some commercial publishing before heading South again to earn her Master of Arts degree in Art History at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her career path lead to museum education working in museums in Savannah, GA and Dothan, AL during which time she curated and worked on the occasional indie film as a PA while continuing to exhibit her photography. Returning to Ohio in 2014, Jamie has been steadily building her portfolio with a concentration in mixed media photography and now works in marketing. She is eager to find herself on another film set and looks forward to the next exhibit or collaborative art project.
