Providence House Community Mural Installation

To meet the growing demand for our Family Preservation and Crisis Nursery services, Providence House is constructing an East Campus Crisis Nursery in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood.  Phase 1 of this project, the renovation and construction of the historic Weizer Building on East 118th and Buckeye into a Crisis Nursery, is complete. We are now shifting our focus towards the next phase of our expansion project: installing a family-oriented mural that is inclusive in its representation of the diversity, culture, and history of the Buckeye-Shaker community, and inspires all residents, and the children and families severed by Providence House, to embrace hope and celebrate the achievements of those who are overcoming crises. The mural will highlight the important role that the Weizer Building plays as a Family Preservation Crisis Nursery in supporting families, as well as provide a unified identity for our organization and the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood.
