Part II: Legal Issues in Fashion Law (presented by Clare Shin, Case Western Reserve University School of Law)
Fashion law represents the intersection of many different fields of law: IP, Contracts, Labor and employment, Immigration, Real estate. International Trade, and Government regulations, to name a few. In her segment, Clare will address the following:

Part III: Social Media for Creatives (presented by Katie Steiner, Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP)
This presentation will address how artists can share their work online and via social media while also protecting their intellectual-property rights. Topics covered will include the following:
• An overview of copyright principles, including when copyrights vest in the creator and what actions are likely to constitute infringement and fair use;
• Understanding your rights with respect to major social-media platforms, in light of community standards and terms-and-conditions of use; and
• Strategies for sharing your work online while discouraging infringing uses.
