Mell Csicsila and Friends

Mell Csicsila is a dynamic presence on the Cleveland musical scene. He frequently performs for Playhouse Square Foundation productions and has worked with artists including Johnny Mathis, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett, Yes and the Moody Blues. Mell has supported the national tours of over twenty Broadway musicals including Wicked, The Producers, Hairspray, and Mary Poppins. 

Beyond traditional classical and pop music, he has appeared on drums and mallets in world fusion concerts with master artists like South Indian percussionist Umayalpuram Sivaraman and Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai.

The concert is free and open to the public, and cosponsored by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, Music Performance Trust Fund and Local 4 Music Fund
