Don’t miss this program of gorgeous, rarely-heard works for chorus and orchestra from the French Baroque, when the celebrated chamber chorus Quire Cleveland joins forces with the brilliant chamber ensemble Les Délices.
The celebrated chamber chorus Quire Cleveland (directed by Ross Duffin) joins forces with the brilliant chamber ensemble Les Délices (directed by Debra Nagy) for an exciting program of French Baroque music. Violins, oboes, flutes, bassoon, chorus, and a thrilling team of vocal soloists perform resplendent, rarely-heard sacred works by Rameau and Mondonville. Scott Metcalfe is guest conductor. Also featured are tenor Owen McIntosh and baritone Jeffrey Strauss. This concert is not to be missed!
