Healing Arts: Beauty Out of the Depths

The Healing Arts provide grieving people with a creative outlet for their grief. In this workshop we will illustrate the lotus flower, which survives extreme temperature to grow out of the mud and emerge as a beautiful bloom.

This is a two-part in-person series. In the first session, we discuss aspects of grief and healing The Art Therapist provides the project materials and instruction for completing the project. In the second session, participants share their creations, discuss their process, and share stories and memories of their loved ones.

Healing Arts workshops are open to all, and no previous art experience is necessary.
