Djapo Cultural Arts Institute's Fall 12-Week Session of Drum & Dance

For students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels and education institutions desiring dance programming, Djapo Cultural Arts Institute provides the most transformational education experiences among local dance companies because student centered mentoring is the foundation of our teaching methods. Join us for a 12 week session through September 18th – December 9th for our 12-Week Fall Session of exploring African and Diaspora Art forms. In the duration of this 12 week period, we will be learning folkloric rhythms, songs and dances from the Mandé ethnic groups incorporating the history, geography, rhythm, language, songs and techniques along with a focus on Djembe.
