Join conductor Matthew Salvaggio, saxophonist Andrew Hosler, and composer Griffin Candey as they kick off the Cleveland Repertory Orchestra’s second season with this world premiere!
The orchestra will feature saxophonist Andrew Hosler premiering the Tenor Saxophone Concerto by composer Griffin Candey. Titled “Double Aviary,” the concerto, supported by the Eric Stokes Fund, is inspired by the impact climate change has had on the avian life found on Lake Erie.
Also on the program will be music by Cleveland composer Margaret Brouwer and Frank Bridge.
