Join the Cleveland Chamber Choir for a virtual survey of madrigals and like works from the sixteenth century to today, on themes of love, loss and duty.
Returning to making music together after the hiatus imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the glorious voices of Cleveland Chamber Choir present Madrigals of All Times. Drawing from a diverse collection of European and American composers from the sixteenth century to today, we contrast settings of the same poetry, composed centuries apart. There is no cost to view the virtual concert, but contributions are gratefully accepted. A portion of donations made between May 15 and June 1, 2021 will go to support the mission of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, a diverse community of people committed to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
