Choral Masterclass with Composer René Clausen

Everyone is welcome to join Good Company: A Vocal Ensemble as we collaborate with the Case Western Reserve University Department of Music to host a student oriented choral Masterclass led by acclaimed composer, René Clausen. Featuring local high school and college choirs, the Case Concert Choir and Good Company. This event is part of the Good Company Contemporary Composers Series.

Dr. René Clausen, emeritus conductor of The Concordia Choir, is known nationally and internationally as a premiere conductor and composer. His many commissioned compositions are frequently performed worldwide. Dr. Clausen has been the Artistic Director of the twice ©Emmy award winning Concordia Christmas Concert, which is frequently broadcast nationally on PBS. In 2018, he was given the Weston Noble Lifetime Achievement Award by the central and north central divisions of the American Choral Directors Association.
