Book Talk with Author Avinoam J. Patt on The Jewish Heroes of Warsaw: The Afterlife of the Revolt

This work analyzes how the uprising was mythologized, capturing the attention of Jews around the world. In this lecture, Patt will examine lesser-known aspects of the revolt, introducing the audience to the true Jewish heroes of Warsaw and will explore memorialization and mourning. Patt is the Maurice Greenberg Professor of Holocaust Studies at New York University. He is also the author of multiple books on Jewish responses to the Holocaust.
