A visit to the Maltz Museum
Art in the Park is a fun and educational agenda promoting art and culture through field trips, crafts, and presenters for Village resident children ages 5 – 12
The program runs for seven weeks on M-W-F in the summer (June 12th – July 28th) with each session being 2.5 hours (a little longer for noted field trips). The program is held at Pavilion #3 in our village park with an additional large grassy area adjacent and a secondary, indoor location available in case of inclement weather. This summer will include field trips to Creative Cabana, The Beck Center, the Cleveland Zoo and more. Scheduled presentations include Art House for t-shirt silk screening, Jungle Bob and his animals; Beck Center for the Arts is bringing back a fun guitarist for Intergenerational Day and more. We will also have a few visits to the Cuyahoga Heights Pool for swimming fun. Additionally, we have many new crafts and physical and sport activities planned for our days in the park! This program is limited to resident children only.
