The Rock Hall’s Author Series will spotlight Gayle Wald as she discusses her book, Shout, Sister, Shout!: The Untold Story of Rock-and-Roll Trailblazer Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
Gayle Wald will give a presentation featuring video, audio, and images focusing on Rosetta Tharpe’s life and career, followed by an interview with Senior Director of Library & Archives, Andy Leach, that will highlight Rosetta’s legacy and importance. The event will conclude with an audience Q&A and book signing. Wald’s book will be available for purchase in the Rock Hall’s FYE store.
The program kicks off at 7 P.M. in the Foster Theater and is free with RSVP.
