In this all-time favorite, the Japanese director of Woman in the Dunes lets his cameras prowl in and around, over and above some of Barcelona’s most beautiful and intricate buildings and spaces—all designed by the great Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). Sagrada Família is one of the structures, of course, in this mesmerizing, meditative movie that has music by Tōru Takemitsu. Subtitles. 72 min.
