Students’ artwork will respond to the theme of Station Hope and come from the heart. Each artist offers content that represents a range of emotions from pain, anger and sadness to hope, resilience and encouragement.
Fostering Hope is a non-profit whose mission is to enrich the lives of youth living in foster care and residential treatment in NEO.
Through our Hope in Balance Yoga and Art Program, we provide bi-weekly art classes for multiple groups of students residing in our partnering agencies. These classes provide materials, time and space for students to express their creativity while also relaxing from their busy and often stressful days. In all of our classes, students choose how they wish to engage because we believe agency is key in both youth development and healing from trauma.
