Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) has launched “Shaping and Sharing the City: Urban Development and Homelessness in Downtown Cleveland,” a series of site-specific interventions, leading to the re-design of public spaces in ways that that foster safe and respectful interactions between homeless people and the broader community. CUDC is working with the Campus District Inc. (CDI) and other community partners to engage downtown’s diverse stakeholders in on-site conversations about needs and desires for open space, privacy, activities, safety and inclusion in the downtown district.
