We’re looking for some full- and part-time artist-educators and hope you will apply!

We are currently looking to build our team of teaching artists by hiring a professional who can teach a variety of visual art forms. We are especially interested in digital animation, mural design, installation, mixed media, graphic design, photography, and filmmaking.

Qualifications:

• Creative, flexible, working artist committed to excellence
• Experience in working with children
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to develop write lesson plans, or the willingness to learn
• Experience working collaboratively
• Positive attitude and respect for children and their ability to learn
• On-going commitment to strengthening teaching practice through feedback, professional development, and collaboration
• Ability to perform administrative duties related to lesson plans, scheduling, and evaluation
• Bachelor’s degree and experience as a teaching artist preferred
• Commitment to arts education and arts integration as an approach to empowering student achievement
