Cleveland Play House seeks a proactive and dynamic professional to join the marketing team. The Education Outreach Manager works under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Associate Director of Marketing to support strategic goals and increase earned revenue for CPH’s various educational programs geared to reach school administrators, educators, students, and parents. This team member will work closely with members of the education, development, and production departments while supporting various marketing, sales, and services efforts.

The Education Outreach Manager must be a strategic thinker and should have knowledge of target marketing strategies, event ticketing, sales, and customer service. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and activating strategies to generate earned revenue for CPH educational touring productions, student matinee performances, Theatre Academy classes, and other special events. An integral member of the communications, marketing, and audience services teams, this role is responsible for following tasks and duties:

• Create and manage school group reservations and coordinate strategic plans for managing inventory for the educational touring program and student matinee performances.
• Create promotional strategies for generating and managing revenue for programming.
• Negotiate and finalize sales and bookings of touring shows and academy classes.
• Pitch opportunities to potential clients and network with educational, theatrical, and community professionals as well as recreational and mental health organizations.
• Research and attend community events and trade show to present programming to potential clients.
