The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the strategic implementation of The Cleveland Orchestra’s stated audience development and ticket revenue goals, both short and long range, and targeted toward existing and new markets at Severance Hall and Blossom Music Center. In collaboration with the Senior Director of Marketing, the Director of Sales and Marketing develops marketing strategy for ticket sales revenue, audience attendance, the enhancement of TCO as an international brand, and oversees the tactical implementation of these strategies.
The Director of Sales and Marketing oversees and participates in the development of single ticket and subscription marketing campaigns, analytics and pricing strategies for all series, and provides support and oversight of the marketing campaign for the Miami Residency. This position directly oversees direct marketing, advertising (to include online advertising), telemarketing, and budget preparation.
