Tremont West partners each year with our Ward 3 Councilman, Kerry McCormack, LAND Studio and Cleveland Public Theatre to present free professional dance, theatre and music in Lincoln Park to the public during the month of August.

Executive Artistic Director of Cleveland Public Theatre, Raymond Bobgan, is the curator of the performances.  Opening night will be Cleveland Public Theatre’s Student Theatre Enrichment Program by the 2018 STEP. The opening weekend also includes a performance of Twelfth Night by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.

The second weekend is our weekend of Dance.  This year, Friday night’s performance will coincide with Walkabout Tremont. Dance kicks off Friday night with Inlet Dance and Verb Ballet closes out the dance weekend on Saturday, both performances start at 8:30pm.  Come early for a free dance lesson OnStage at 7:45pm where kids of all ages can get up on stage prior to the performance!

The third and fourth weekends we welcome back four of our favorites Tony Mikhael, the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, ContempOpera, and Papo Ruiz Y La Dulzura de la Salsa.  Join us!  It will be fun for the whole family!

The final weekend we will introduce you to experience local indy music.  The performances start at 7pm.  Join us for The Village Bicycle, By Light We Loom and The Ohio Weather Band.

We invite you and invite you to invite your friends for free evenings of professional arts in Lincoln Park.  Bring a picnic, order take-out from one of our Tuesdays in Tremont participants listed below.  You definitely want to bring a chair or a blanket to sit and remember you are in a park at dusk, so you might want to bring some bug spray too!
