River Day is an opportunity to spend time along the Cuyahoga and its tributaries and Lake Erie, where the river ends, with activities spread across the watershed and include hikes, paddles, cleanups, learning, and fun.
River Day is chock full of activities where you can learn about the Cuyahoga River and its watershed, get involved in caring for the streams that flow to it, or just have fun paddling the river or enjoying a festival. Plant trees in Oakwood, help clean up the wetland where Euclid Creek ends or head down to Tinker\\\’s Creek, give a hand in the national park, take a hike along West Creek and Doan Brook, discover history along Big Creek.
You can also contribute your River Day experiences, stories, memories, thoughts, images, or videos about the Cuyahoga for a book and web-book that\\\’s being developed for the 50th anniversary of the infamous fire on the river by visiting Team2019.org.
