This is the first of a series of concerts featuring both local performers and famous stars from Broadway and recording industry. After this concert, there will also be a free reception to meet the stars!
American Songbook Concert, a new Cleveland non-profit, is presenting a concert “Songs for Mothers and Those They Love” on Mother’s Day. Performed by six of Cleveland’s favorite musical theatre stars will be songs by George and Ira Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Carole King, Irving Berlin, Tom Waits, Harold Arlen, Yip Harburg, Simon & Garfunkel, Stephen Sondheim, Bob Dylan, and many more.
