If you have ever wanted to publish a book, then join us in the AAWR galleries on March 13th for this presentation given by Alex Shaland
Meet Alex Shaland – a writer, publisher, and travel photographer who for over 30 years delighted his readers with articles and photos published in numerous magazines in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. His first adventure book, Suburbanites on Safari, was followed by Jackie the Penguin Goes on Safari and Jackie the Penguin Goes to Madagascar, the first two books in the children’s Adventures of Jackie the Penguin series.
Alex is a VP of Operations & Business Development at GTA Books, a publishing company he co-founded with his wife Irene. From a contributing magazine editor to author and publisher, Alex has done it all, and he shares his experience in this interactive and entertaining presentation.
