This structured program is designed for people with physical, cognitive, or medical challenges. Participants will follow step-by-step directives while being given a variety of choices so that each piece is uniquely their own personal expression.
Starting something new can be intimidating, especially with people you don’t know. This is why we require all first-time participants to request a New Client Consultation with our Receptionist by clicking on this link or calling our office at 216-791-9303 and letting the dispatcher know you would like to sign up for a New Client Consultation. During the 15-minute phone consultation, we will go through a New Client questionnaire to assess your needs. We will answer any questions you may have about receiving services, billing & cost of receiving services, financial assistance available, recommend art therapy groups to register for, and sign you up for group orientation the week before scheduled groups begin.

Morning Session Time: 10:30-12:00 pm at Art Therapy Studio
Afternoon Virtual Session Time: 1:00-2:30 pm
Financial assistance is available and determined by a sliding scale based on household income. For more information and to find out if you are eligible please follow the link or call our office at 216-791-9303. Income-based Fee Reductions are made possible through the Christine M. Treu Scholarship Fund.
All participants will be mailed or emailed an invoice for services and payment is due upon receipt. We accept payment for registration in cash, most major credit cards, or checks.
If you have made a payment via check or e-check (ACH) and the check is returned from the bank as dishonored (a.k.a. “bounced”), a $25 check fee will be applied. We will notify individuals when we have received a returned check and provide them with an opportunity to pay the fee and balance due within 5 business days, after which the registration will be canceled if payment arrangements haven’t been made. In addition, individuals who have paid with a returned check will be requested to pay via cash or credit card for all future transactions.

The Registration Fee for all Community Art Therapy Programs is $175, unless noted otherwise. Additional fees may apply. All Registration and other fees are subject to change.

Not all programs take place at our location in the Fairhill Partners Building. Please confirm the location and your ability to attend before signing up for a program.

Payment for programs is due at the time of invoicing. There will be no make-up sessions or refunds.
Registration confirmation will be emailed out a week before sessions start.
Space is limited and groups fill up quickly!
No sessions will be held on Memorial Day.
In case of inclement weather, all Community Art Therapy sessions will be canceled if Cleveland City Schools has a snow day. If we have inclement weather but Cleveland City Schools is not canceled, individual sessions may still be canceled. Client Artists will be notified of cancellation by their art therapist.

Location: Art Therapy Studio is situated on the first floor of the Fairhill Partner’s Building, which is a multi-use office building converted from an old hospital. Our address is 12200 Fairhill Road, C155, Cleveland, OH 44120.
Entrance:
The main entrance doors are equipped with automatic openers for ease of access.
There is a handicapped-accessible bathroom with an automatic door assistance button located near the main entrance for your convenience.
Additionally, an accessible unisex bathroom with grab bars is available near the Studio on the first floor. This bathroom does not have an automatic door assistance button, but our staff is happy to assist in opening the door when requested.
Access to Programs on the Third Floor:
Some of our programs take place on the third floor of the Fairhill Partner’s Building.
An elevator is provided for accessibility to the third floor. When the elevator is out of order, all programs will be moved to the first floor with notice to ensure continued accessibility.
On the third floor, you will find another accessible unisex bathroom located near the Studio. This bathroom does not have an automatic door assistance button, but our staff is happy to assist opening the door when requested.
Double Doors for Convenience:
The main entrance doors are double doors with an enclosed vestibule, allowing individuals to remain indoors while waiting for transportation or assistance.
