Great Lakes ADA Center is a helpful resource supporting the ADA mission to “make it possible for everyone with a disability to live a life of freedom and equality.” It is a program of the Department of Disability and Human Development under the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Their Arts-n-Rec Webinar Series is designed to enhance an individual’s knowledge on ADA issues addressing the arts world (e.g., museums, zoos, exhibitions, concerts, fairs, etc.) and indoor and outdoor recreation activities (e.g., sports, camps and classes, fishing, hiking, races/marathons, etc.).
