Following our 11-day in-person CIFF48 Film Festival at Playhouse Square (April 3-13,2024), CIFF Streams will provide access to as many short and feature films as possible April 14-21, 2024 for this year’s Festival for your at-home viewing. CIFF will announce its robust lineup in March 2024. Known for its program from a variety of genres, the Festival will offer audience and filmmaker engagement opportunities through its post-film Q&As, panel discussions, and special events. More than $130,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to feature and short films through the Festival’s esteemed audience and juried awards. CIFF is proud to be one of the few festivals in the world that is Academy Award® qualifying for all three categories of short films—live action, animated, and documentary. CIFF48 will take place at Playhouse Square April 3 – 13, 2024, immediately followed by CIFF Streams, April 14 – 21, 2024 online. The in-person Festival will showcase feature films and short films from our community and around the globe during its 11-day run at the largest historic theatre district outside of New York City.  Additional spaces in and around Playhouse Square will used to host events such as post-screening Q&A’s with select filmmakers, panel discussions featuring community partners working to solve issues related to film themes and topics, and interactive exhibits to engage attendees throughout Playhouse Square
