Join us in a discussion, panel chat and Q&A with this remarkable talent Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 at 6-8 pm. Q&A panel with a renowned multi-pen name author who has crafted captivating stories for decades. Discover how Cleveland’s most beloved landmarks come to life in her books and how the city’s rich history weaves its way into her compelling fiction. Explore the ways Cleveland inspires her unique vision and has contributed to her remarkable literary content.

You also might know Connie as Anastasia Hastings, the author of the historical Dear Miss Hermione mystery series set in England in 1885. “Of Hoaxes and Homicide,” the newest book in the series, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly magazine which called the book “captivating.” The Wall Street Journal said “Of Manners and Murder,” the first book of the series, ” . . .  evokes the shocking revelations of Wilkie Collins, the social acuity of Jane Austen and the comic melodrama of Oscar Wilde.” Cleveland readers might also know Anastasia by her other pen names. As Casey Daniels, she’s written 10 Pepper Martin novels. Pepper works at a historic Cleveland cemetery and solves mysteries for the ghosts there. As Kylie Logan, she’s written the Jazz Ramsey mysteries set in the Tremont neighborhood and featuring a heroine who trains and handles cadaver dogs. The author is a lifelong resident of the area and loves nothing better than exploring old cemeteries, studying family genealogy, and digging into Cleveland’s past.
