Write Valentines Day notes to your loved one on the back of strips of painted muslin, roll them up, and make these “beads” into a pin, bracelet, necklace, or rear-view window hanger. Only you will know that your piece of jewelry has a secret message.
This two-part virtual series takes place over two weeks and art materials will be provided during the first session.
In the first session, we discuss aspects of grief and healing, and the Art Therapist provides instruction for completing the project on your own. In the second session, participants share their creations, discuss their process, and share stories and memories of their loved ones.
Healing Arts workshops are open to all, and no previous art experience is necessary.
Masking is optional for those who are fully vaccinated. If you have not been fully vaccinated, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask. If you are ill or do not feel well, please stay at home.
To register, please contact Board Certified Art Therapist Mollie Borgione at 216.486.6544 or mborgione@hospicewr.org no later than one week before the first workshop date. Admission is free, but a donation of $5 to Hospice of the Western Reserve is suggested. If you’d like to do so, please visit Hospice of the Western Reserve – Ways to Give (hospicewr.org)
