The music of tango is full of games for listener and musician alike. Join us weekly in the mornings and monthly during the Waterloo Arts Walk for an open practice of classic dance music; come with an instrument or just to listen!
Free and open to the public, we meet every first Friday evening in Waterloo to learn about and practice tango music, vals, milonga, boleros, calypso, salsa, and more. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you have no experience with an instrument or only want to sit and listen a bit. Proficient musicians also welcome, tango orchestras would routinely double or triple up on each sound to increase volume and gravitas!
