Miguel A. Aragón is the Assistant Professor in Printmaking in the Dept. of Performing & Creative Arts at The City University of New York / College of Staten Island.

Miguel believes in the influential power of art and its potential to enact change both on the viewer and on society as a whole. He describes his work as an exploration of “this drug-related violence happening every day in México. My work is derived-from a need to find meaning in these brutal events that repositions the corpse in our field of vision, reminding us that our physical existence is finite.”
