North Pointe Ballet in the Park, presented in partnership with Lorain County Metro Parks, will feature classical ballet in conjunction with contemporary, jazz, and hip hop works staged by NPB’s Executive Artistic Director, artists of the company, & guest artists. North Pointe Ballet Ballet in the Park will launch the company’s eighth season making classical ballet accessible to everyone.

The free concert will be presented outdoors near the historic rose garden at Lakeview Park. Audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to sit on for lawn seating.

Executive Artistic Director Janet Dziak says, “I love presenting mixed repertoire concerts to showcase the diverse talents and creativity of our professional company. Our audience has gotten to know the dancers over the years as fairytale ballet characters, but watching them move in different ways offers insights into the unique personalities that have entertained our community over the years. There really is something for everyone in this concert!”
