One World Day 2023 celebrates the many cultures of Cleveland with a Parade of Flags, and ethnic food, music and dance in each of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
2023 will mark the 77th anniversary of One World Day, the signature event of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The day begins with a naturalization ceremony, a moving scene that officially welcomes our newest citizens. The Parade of Flags, which will feature marching units from more than 50 countries and cultures, will follow. The parade is exciting and colorful, with musicians, dancers and marching bands playing music from all over the globe.
When the parade is done, visitors can enjoy ethnic music, dance and food throughout the Cultural Gardens. One World Day also features a Children’s Village, and our Passport-to-Peace program, in which kids (and adults) can visit a garden, learn something new about a different country, get their passports stamped, and redeem them for a free One World Day t-shirt at our information booth.
We’ll have golf carts and buses circulating within the Gardens to make it easier to get around and scooters will be available, too. Bicyclists are most welcome!
This event is free.
