Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) painting major Janoi Daley showcases work in solo exhibition at CIA’s Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery.
Trekking thru the Garden, a solo exhibition by CIA student Janoi Daley, will showcase work made during the same period as work in Daley’s Tending to Her Garden, a solo exhibition at Karamu House in Cleveland.
Trekking thru the Garden, will be on view August 11–26 in CIA’s Ann and Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7pm Friday, August 25 at CIA.
Trekking thru the Garden at CIA will serve as an extension of Tending to Her Garden at Karamu House, inviting viewers to gain a deeper understanding of Daley’s creative process.
“The work at Karamu House provides a broader perspective of the themes I explore, and the work in CIA’s Roulet Gallery will offer a glimpse into how I’ve navigated this experience,” says Daley, a Painting major.
