At this event, you will hear the voice of Cleveland youth! These students have made powerful, uplifting songs about their community, their world, and their lives. For hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, our performance will take you back through all eras, as we showcase original DJing (one of the foundational elements of hip-hop) from our teachers along with newer, more melodic styles being cultivated by today’s young artists. If you love hip-hop and you love your city, you will definitely love to see this performance by Refresh Collective!
