High School & College Level Study & Performance Dedicated to the Latin Jazz Genre
In collaboration with Case Western Reserve University Department of Music:
A serious intense week-long music camp for instrumental music students from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds (high school grades 9-12 and college level freshman & up) on Case campus. All instruments. Apply the fundamentals of Latin-American rhythms and music and their relationship to jazz and all music. Includes FREE public finale concert performance (live & streaming) by Camp students, faculty, guest artists (July 14, 7pm, CWRU Harkness Chapel; 11200 Bellflower, 44106). Lunch provided; potential supper as applicable to special evening sessions as announced.
