UpStage Players will perform Singin’ in the Rain! Opening Night is Friday, March 23 at 7:30 pm. Saturday performance is March 24 at 7:30 pm. Sunday afternoon performance at 2:30 pm. Performances will take place at the theatre space in the Cleveland Public Library Collinwood branch (former Villa Angela High School) located at 17109 Lakeshore Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44110. A non-profit children’s theatre company, UpStage Players was founded in 1994 with 30 children and a clear vision to create a community of love and respect for the performing arts. Evolving into a group of 90 children, two keys to the success of UpStage have been its unwavering, all-inclusive, no-cut policy and its army of committed volunteers who are dedicated to transforming everyday kids into accomplished artists. The children come from diverse neighborhoods in Northeast Ohio; yet despite their differences, they collaborate by sharing their gifts, growing through challenges and developing leadership as they breathe life into each annual production for the love of the arts and betterment of the community.
